FOGSI
At the sixth All India Obst. & Gyn. Congress held in Madras on 6th January 1950, Obst. & Gyn. Societies of Bombay, Madras, Bengal, Ahmedabad and Punjab resolved to form themselves into the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India.

FIGO
The International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics – is the only organisation that brings together professional societies of obstetricians and gynecologists on a global basis. Currently we have member societies in 113 countries or territories.
